USS Bairoko (CVE-115) was a Commencement Bay-class escort carrier commissioned in July 1945 and operated briefly in the western Pacific before being deactivated in April 1950. She served in support roles during the immediate post-war period, including participation in Operation Sandstone nuclear weapons tests in 1948, and was recommissioned in September 1950 for Korean War operations. Bairoko remained in active service through the Korean War, conducting anti-submarine patrols and pilot transport missions until her final decommissioning.
