USS Glynn (APA-239) was a Haskell-class attack transport commissioned in October 1945, too late to see combat in World War II. After initial post-war cargo and troop transport operations in the Pacific, she was recommissioned in 1951 and served the Atlantic Fleet conducting peacetime training exercises and midshipman cruises until final decommissioning in September 1955. The vessel remained in reserve until her sale for scrap in 1983.
