USS Cowpens (CG-63) was a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser that served the U.S. Navy from 1991 to 2024, built at Bath Iron Works and homeported at Naval Base San Diego. The ship participated in major operations including the 1993 Iraq Tomahawk strikes, the 1994 Korean Peninsula crisis, the 2003 Iraq War, and 2011 disaster relief following the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. Decommissioned on 27 August 2024 after 33 years of service, Cowpens was stricken from the Naval Register on 30 August 2024.
